State Street has made two appointments with the aim of strengthening its information and technology capabilities and accelerate its digital service offerings.
Chris Perretta, previously chief information officer (CIO), has been promoted to a new position as global head of enterprise data and technology. Perretta will be responsible for advancing State Street’s technology strategy and combining data and insights to deliver new digital tools and platforms for clients. Perretta will play an integral role in developing the company’s transformation strategy that is intended to achieve digitally integrated across infrastructure, workflows, products and data.
Antoine Shagoury has been appointed to executive vice president and global CIO, reporting to Perretta. He joins from the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) where he was group chief information and group chief operating officer for the past five years and had global responsibility for all technology and operations across capital markets, information and data services, and post-trade.
