International Financial Data Services (IFDS) has carried out something of a reshuffle at the core of which sit two major appointments to its senior management team in the UK.
Chris Spencer, who joined IFDS in 2004 as a director of client relations, has been named managing director, UK Funds.
Richard Barrett, who joined in 2008 as director of operations has been named chief operating officer, UK Funds.
Group executive David Moffat has been named to lead the strategic response of the IFDS Funds business to major new legislation, with an initial focus on MiFID II.
“These key appointments are in direct response to the on-going needs of UK Funds’ clients,” said Paul Roberts, CEO Funds.” The changes will strengthen our ability to meet our clients and their customers’ needs and better prepare us to deal with the ever-changing regulatory environment.”
