Thierry Sciard is to join Liquidnet, the global institutional trading network, as a non-executive director on the board of Liquidnet Europe.
Sciard began his career in fixed income at Bank of America as head of French bond and futures trading. Most recently he was managing principal at StormHarbour Partners. Before that he was global head of alternatives and solutions division at Fortis Investments where he oversaw the investment activities of 11 operation centres. Between 2005 and 2008, he was head of investment management division, Europe and Middle East, Lehman Brothers Europe where he was responsible for the bank’s strategic development in the regions.
Before Lehman, Sciard was global head of capital markets divisions at Calyon where he oversaw all capital markets activities in cash and derivatives across multiple asset classes including rates and credit.
