BNP Paribas Securities Services has announced it managed the operational aspects of Talend’s initial public offering (IPO) on the NASDAQ Global Market in July 2016, and now provides the company with shareholder services.
Talend software was founded in 2005. The company offered 5.71 million American Depositary Shares (ADSs) – including the over-allotment option – for sale on NASDAQ Global Market at an IPO price of $18 per ADS. The ADSs are listed on the NASDAQ Global Market under the symbol “TLND”.
BNP Paribas Securities Services provided securities structuring services and managed the settlement of the IPO, securing processes between the USA and France. Post IPO, the bank now maintains Talend’s register of shareholders, and provides Talend with general meeting and dividend payment services.
Thomas Tuchscherer, Chief Financial Officer and VP Corporate Development, Talend, said: “BNP Paribas Securities Services was part of a strong team that helped support Talend’s successfully executed IPO. We look forward to continuing our relationship with them as a public company.”
Pierre Jond, Head of Corporate Trust Services at BNP Paribas Securities Services, said: “We thank Talend for the trust they have shown in us. An IPO is a major turning point in the life of a company and must be executed with absolute precision. Our dedicated transaction management team has acquired a level of expertise and experience that enables it to address any situation.”
