Cordium, a provider of regulatory compliance consulting, software, accounting and tax services to the asset management and securities industry has appointed Lusine Moshkounian as vice president, based in San Francisco.
She will help investment managers successfully implement and maintain a comprehensive compliance program unique to each firm’s size, structure, and client base. Her clients include managers of hedge funds, private equity/venture capital funds, and other private funds as well as traditional investment advisers providing discretionary and non-discretionary advisory services to individuals, pension plans, registered investment companies, and other clients both directly and via sub-advisory relationships with other advisers. More specifically, says Cordium, she will play a key role in enhancing its Mock Audit service which assists advisers in preparing for a potential future audit by mimicking a typical SEC or NFA exam.
Moshkounian was most recently chief compliance officer and legal counsel of Legato Capital Management LLC, an SEC registered investment adviser. Prior to that, for over seven years, she was an Attorney-Adviser and a Branch Chief in the San Francisco and Los Angeles Offices’ Investment Adviser/Investment Company examination programme at the SEC.
