Ireland joins Palamon

Palamon Capital Partners, a pan-European growth investor, has appointed Katherine Ireland as an associate principal.

Ireland joins Palamon having earned her MBA from Harvard Business School in 2015. She was previously an associate in the London-based investment team at Centerbridge Partners with responsibility for managing European distressed credit and private equity investments. Ireland began her career at Goldman Sachs International as an Analyst where she advised European industrial companies on strategy and financing. 

This is the third hire to the investment team over the past 14 months, a period of high activity for the Firm.  Palamon completed the exits of Prospitalia and Retail Decisions for a 3.0x and 2.5x return, respectively, while acquiring legal services group, Simplify; Italian luxury brand, Il Bisonte; and, UK foreign exchange provider, Currencies Direct.
