HSBC Securities Services (HSS) has named Rafael Moral Santiago as its new head of securities services, Europe, responsible for the business across Europe and leading its growth agenda.
He joins from Deutsche Bank, where his most recent role was global head of investor services, leading Deutsche Bank's custody and clearing, fund services and agency securities lending businesses, with primary accountability for strategy, global P&L, client relationships and risk management.
Santiago joins on December 1, and will report to Cian Burke, global head of HSS. He will be based in London and will also form part of the HSS executive committee.
