Ian Jack joins GBST

GBST, a global provider of securities transaction and fund administration software for the financial services industry, says that Ian Jack has joined it as chief executive officer for its Capital Markets business in the UK.



Jack brings 15 years of experience in the financial services industry to the team, with a particular focus in front and back-office financial networks. Most recently he served as global head of infrastructure for the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). 

Working from their New York offices, he oversaw a global team responsible for the company’s infrastructure business, which included its global trading network and data centres. Before that he held roles at Colt Telecom, Radianz and Logica Ltd.



Based in London, Jack will report to group CEO Stephen Lake and focus on further growing the company’s Capital Markets business into new markets throughout Europe.
